Google puts a “remove result” link under some search results. I don’t really know if it’s a new feature, but I noticed it for the very first time.
It seems this is a feature where you have to be logged in to use it. Because it says “Removed url from your search results for …“.
It get’s even better, you can remove sites forever. When you click “more options” you get to choose between
- For this search, remove this page
- For all searches, remove this page
- For all searches, remove all pages from addons.mozilla.org
I guess the next step will be using this information to improve search results for all users. Let’s see how long it will take until google will allow users to tag search results.
