My theme psycho 0.1
by Frank Spychalski filed under Blog

This site now uses a new theme, you can find it here.

If you like my theme, just download psycho.tar.gz or psycho.zip, put it in the wp-content/theme/ directory, unpack it and activate it under “Presentation”…

enjoy and let me know if you like it…

Features:

  • Recent Posts list in the sidebar, when not on the main page
  • Recent Comments list in the sidebar
  • author shown only for articles not written by the administrator
  • little stats block in the sidebar

addendum 7.3.05
hey, 7 downloads in one day :-) If you actually use this theme, let me know…

addendum 7.3.05 II

  • moved ‘filed under’ to the top
  • changed the ‘recent comments’ code, now comments which are not approved no longer appear in the list
  • added the stats block

addendum 8.3.05

  • fixed the link list

addendum 10.3.05

  • added author count in status box

addendum 11.3.05

  • changes at the comments box, could still use some improvement

addendum 18.3.05

  • fixed the damn backslashes in front of quotes, but it’s just a workaround

I have a suggestion: the “filed under …” info should be displayed at the top of a post, not somewhere at the bottom – I would like to get that info before reading the whole article. can you change that, please?

    Post instead of a comment

Just fixed my theme – there was a problem with longer titles which wrapped around under the top of the sidebar. Anyway, it’s fixed. Thanks to Sonic Chicken for the hint.

Tried to leave a comment in Sonic Chicken’s article, but comments are closed….

Hey Frank, I downloaded your “Psycho” theme cause I think it kicks ass. I managed to mangle in my header logo from my blogspot americandrumslinger.blogspot.com that someone else who is no longer available, helped me design. I know very little about html and I was wondering if you could tell me how to change the coloring of my blogroll lettering from black to something else. I changed the background color to Teal but I can’t seem to figure out the blogroll.
    Thanx dude

Hi Baron, sorry but I got other things to do. If you like my theme, use it or change it to your taste. But if you need HTML help consider learning HTML…

I’ve got this theme loaded and really like it. I’ve only got one issue though. In internet explorer the blog title looks fine but in Firefox the title is partially covered up by the search box. Any ideas on how to fix this? My blog is located at jasonclick.com

    Hey Frank,
Thanx for all the help. Now that I learned HTML I would like to say that americandrumslinger or is it american drumslinger is on its way to being damn near half ass good as your site! You rock dude!
